As we proudly celebrate our 8th anniversary this October with “ROCTOBER,” we are thrilled to introduce you to a local charity that exemplifies compassion, dedication, and positive change: Maricopa County Animal Shelter West Valley.

In recent years, Maricopa County Animal Shelter West Valley has been a steadfast guardian for animals in need. With the unfortunate increase in animal intake, they have risen to the challenge and demonstrated unwavering commitment to finding loving homes for the animals that come through their doors. Their incredible dedication is reflected in their remarkable save rate, averaging 94% or higher since 2017.
A Story of Success and Compassion
The journey of Maricopa County Animal Shelter West Valley has been one of triumph. In 2022 alone, they provided refuge for 18,468 pets, safely reunited 2,225 with their homes, found forever families for 11,622, and collaborated with partner organizations to transfer 2,309 pets to new beginnings. Their astounding 94.85% average save rate stands as a testament to the tireless efforts they put into every life they touch.

MCACC is extending their Animal Care Center for us to volunteer our time.
Together, we will prepare enrichment items for the dogs — snuffle bags, pupsicles, peanut butter cookies, etc. We will also be passing out the enrichment to all 400+ dogs.
